The books in the AJGS and AJHS Research Library comprise over 2000 titles ranging from the classic well-known books on Australian Jewish History and Jewish Genealogy to several rare items.

The library is housed at the Lamm Library, 304 Hawthorn Road, Caulfield South.

The Colyer-Ferguson Genealogies
Seven microfilms. Two reels consist of newspaper clippings about notable Jewish families, one real is newspaper clippings of general information about Jews. The remaining four reals are handwritten pedigrees again, mostly of notable families.


Mordy Genealogies
A duplicate set of eleven microfilms. Typed indexed file cards produced by Miss Isobel Mordy from original material, the London “Jewish Chronicle”, the Colyer-Ferguson Collection, the Hyamson Collection and “Men & Women of Mark”, a bound volume of newspaper cuttings in the Jewish Museum, London.
